Skin Picking

I started out skeptical that I could control my skin picking.

For a long time I tried to stop and felt frustrated - failure, a complete loss of control.

Understanding that reduction is an achievable goal, as opposed to “quitting,” set me on a path that could actually be implemented.

After the first week using the app, I started seeing a change in my face. The redness decreased significantly, and my motivation rose a lot.

Today I know that this is under my control. Even if I touch my face, I manage to stop after one or two times and don’t reach a state where my face is full of wounds. The app gave me a feeling that I control my skin picking, and not that it controls me.

It can suit anyone who feels they’ve lost control - the very act of reporting and tracking is already the beginning of healing.

I see results.

My self-confidence has increased.

I’m already satisfied, even though I thought that only stopping completely would make the difference.

I accept that I have the urge, but it is under my control and managed by me.
